Global audit tools were not built for your market.
The established platforms are priced in dollars and shaped around other regulators. Most teams here end up running audits across spreadsheets, shared folders and email. Veradit gives them a proper system without the dollar invoice.
| Spreadsheets and email | Veradit | |
|---|---|---|
| Findings | Free text in a document | Five elements, one lifecycle, one record |
| Follow-up | Chased by message | Tracker with owners and overdue flags |
| Standards | Interpreted per audit | Structured around the 2025 IIA Standards |
| Reports | Rebuilt each cycle | PDF and Word generated from the record |
| Pricing | Staff time | Naira, no currency risk |
Everything an internal audit team does, in one place.

Plan and run engagements without losing the thread
Each engagement holds its scope, team, workpapers and findings together, so nothing lives in someone's inbox.
- Workpapers with automatic reference numbers
- Document repository with secure downloads
- Import existing Excel trackers with a migration template
Findings written the way the Standards expect
Every finding captures criteria, condition, cause, effect and recommendation, then moves through a defined lifecycle with clear ownership at each stage.
- Who can edit a finding depends on its stage and their role
- Status labels and next actions are plain, not codes
- Try the live example at the top of this page
Know what is overdue before the committee asks
Every action plan has an owner and a date. Open one to see the full finding and its history in a side panel, without leaving the list.
- Overdue items are flagged at a glance
- Owners and due dates tracked per action
- Full finding detail in a slide-in panel
Let risk decide where audit time goes
Keep your audit universe and risk register next to your plan, so coverage decisions can be explained and defended.
- Audit universe of every auditable entity
- Risk register linked to engagements
- Dashboard view of where work stands
Risk heat map (sample)
Reports generated from the record, not retyped
Findings, engagement details, team, action plans and sign-off are pulled straight into the report. Export a polished PDF, or Word when you need to edit before it goes out.
- PDF and Word output
- Consistent structure across every engagement
- Sign-off sections built in
An assistant beside your work, not in charge of it
Open the assistant panel to help draft and tighten wording. You review everything, and nothing changes the record until you accept it.
- Help phrasing findings and recommendations
- Opens beside the page you are working on
- You stay the author of record
Start with audit. Add what you need later.
Veradit is a suite of modules on a shared core. Each one is licensed on its own, so you pay for the combination your institution actually uses.
Audit
Engagements, workpapers, findings, follow-up, risk register, audit universe and reports.
Revenue Assurance
Find revenue leakage across quote-to-cash. Fintech first, then banks, telecom and insurance.
See Veradit RACAAT
Computer-assisted audit techniques to test every record, not a sample.
Risk and Compliance
Risk, controls, compliance and policy management on the same core as audit.
Audit stays a standalone product. Adding another module never forces you to change how your audit team works.
Find the revenue you are owed.
Veradit RA checks every transaction against your fee schedule, your agreements and regulatory limits, then turns each gap into a case you can follow to recovery. It starts with fintech and payments, then banks, telecom and insurance.
Sample data. Amounts and cases are illustrative. Select any amount above to see where revenue goes missing.
Every transaction, not a sample
Controls run across the full population, so a leak that touches 2% of transactions cannot hide between the ones you happened to check.
Tied to the rulebook
Each control links to the clause it tests. A coverage map shows which regulations and tariffs are checked, and which still are not.
Explained, never guessed
AI explains each case in plain language using only figures from your data. People decide what is confirmed, recovered and signed off.
Bring your data
Start with CSV or Excel exports. Direct connections to PostgreSQL and SQL Server are planned.
Test every transaction
Ready-made controls check fees, completeness, settlement and ledger accuracy. Build your own without code.
Review cases
Exceptions are grouped by cause, valued in naira and given an owner and a due date.
Prove recovery
Attach evidence, record the recovery, and get finance sign-off from a different person.

Made for how Nigerian institutions really operate.
Invitation-only access
People join by invitation. There is no public sign-up and no Google sign-in, which fits the IT security policies most banks require.
Roles that match your structure
Four access levels with role titles you can rename. A CAE does not have to manage users: they nominate an administrator.
Priced in naira
No dollar invoices and no exchange-rate surprises when you plan your budget.
Your titles, your hierarchy
Access follows four tiers. The labels are yours, so the same platform suits a bank, a microfinance institution, an NGO or a church.
From spreadsheets to a working audit cycle.

Why Veradit exists.
Audit teams in Africa deserve tools designed for their standards, their regulators and their budgets.
Veradit is shaped around the problems internal audit teams describe again and again: findings that stall, follow-ups that slip, and reports rebuilt from scratch every cycle. We are working with early users to make the everyday work simpler, and we welcome conversations with teams who want to help shape what comes next.
Questions teams ask first.
Who is Veradit for?
Internal audit teams in financial institutions first. The platform also suits NGOs, religious organisations and SMEs that run internal audit or governance reviews.
Which standards does it follow?
The audit module is structured around the 2025 IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, and the product is designed with CBN, NFIU and NDPA expectations in mind.
Does Veradit replace our external audit tools?
No. Veradit is for internal audit teams working to IIA Standards. It is not an external audit tool.
How is my data protected?
Access is by invitation only, with role-based permissions on every record. Ask us for details on hosting and security when you request a demo.
Can it run inside our own environment?
Veradit runs in the cloud today. Private cloud and on-premise deployment are planned for institutions that need them. Tell us your requirement and we will be direct about timing.
What does it cost?
Pricing is in naira and depends on the modules you license. Request a demo and we will share it.
Can we bring our existing audit data?
Yes. An Excel migration template helps you load existing engagements and findings.
Is Veradit RA available yet?
Not yet. It is close to launch and we are gathering feedback from teams in fintech, banking, telecom and insurance. Join the early-access list to get in first and help decide what we build next.
What data does Veradit RA need?
Transaction and fee data from your systems, such as transactions, fee postings, settlements, bank statements and ledger entries. It starts with CSV and Excel exports. Direct database connections are planned.
We already have scripts that check this. Does it replace them?
It is designed so a check your team already runs can be rebuilt as a reviewable control without code, then compared with your script on the same data. It also looks for patterns a script was never written to find.
How is AI used in Veradit RA?
AI explains cases and suggests new checks. It works from summarised facts, not raw customer records, and every figure it quotes must come from your data. Nothing is confirmed, recovered or closed until a person decides.
See it with your own audit cycle in mind.
